In a daring operation, the Indian Army has once again struck a lethal blow against the enemy by executing a surgical strike across the border. This time, the valiant commandos ventured into the heart of Rajouri and Poonch districts, crossing the Line of Control, and meticulously dismantled four terrorist launch pads nestled in Nakyal of Kotli, a region under the yoke of Pakistan-administered Jammu and Kashmir.

The surgical strike resulted in the elimination of seven to eight terrorists who had been harboring nefarious intentions. These fearless soldiers undertook a journey of approximately two and a half kilometers into enemy territory, showcasing their unmatched bravery and determination. Reports suggest that among the neutralized terrorists, some could be members of the notorious Bat group.

The Indian security agencies, having received actionable intelligence, had been closely monitoring the developments in these launch pads for several days. These pads were reportedly being utilized as staging areas for a major attack on Indian soil, specifically targeting the Poonch and Rajouri districts. The alarming surge in activities by the Pakistani army, the notorious ISI, and the sinister Bat team around these launch pads raised concerns of an impending threat.

However, India’s proactive approach foiled the enemy’s sinister designs. Through a surgical strike, the Indian Army thwarted the nefarious conspiracy, sending an unequivocal message that it will not allow terrorist activities to fester near its borders. While official confirmation of the surgical strike is awaited, sources within the army have indicated that the operation was carried out on a Saturday night.

Pakistan’s conspicuous silence in response to this surgical strike echoes its apprehension. Just as with previous instances, such as the surgical strike post the Uri attack and the Balakot air strike after the Pulwama attack, Pakistan might attempt to conceal the reality of the action taken in Nakyal. Its reluctance to acknowledge the truth underscores the seriousness of the situation.

Approximately 12 to 15 elite commandos from the Indian Army’s Special Forces played a pivotal role in this strategic operation. These brave soldiers traversed the treacherous terrain on foot, crossing the Line of Control from the Tarkundi sector of Rajouri and Bhimbhar Gali in Poonch. Under the cloak of darkness, these commandos infiltrated approximately two and a half kilometers deep into enemy territory, swiftly neutralizing the terrorists and Bat members stationed at Nakyal in Kotli.

The surgical strike has been hailed as a resounding success, signaling India’s commitment to safeguarding its borders and citizens. The Bat team, known for its unholy alliance of terrorists and Pakistani military personnel, remains an ongoing threat along the border. The seamless execution of the operation without any loss on the Indian side further underscores the professionalism and training of the Indian armed forces.

The repeated attempts by terrorists, aided and abetted by the Pakistan Army, to create terror in the border regions of Rajouri and Poonch have not gone unnoticed. The Indian Army’s counterterrorism efforts have borne the brunt of these challenges, with several incidents in the past two years, including attacks and infiltration attempts. The surgical strike is a clear message to Pakistan that any misadventure against India will be met with a resolute response.

URI Surgical Strike

The Uri surgical strike of 2016 and the Balakot air strike of 2019 stand as historic examples of India’s firm resolve against terrorism. The Uri attack, orchestrated by the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group at the behest of the ISI, claimed the lives of 19 Indian soldiers. In retaliation, the Indian Army executed a surgical strike, penetrating three kilometers beyond the Line of Control and neutralizing terrorist bases.

Balakot Air Strike

Similarly, the Balakot air strike followed the suicide attack on a CRPF convoy near Pulwama in 2019. In this brazen assault, 40 brave soldiers lost their lives. The Indian Air Force, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, conducted an air strike on a Jaish-run terrorist camp in Balakot, Pakistan. This operation significantly disrupted Jaish’s operations, decimating its leadership and eliminating a considerable number of terrorists.

In the face of adversity, India has consistently demonstrated its commitment to eradicating terrorism from its soil and maintaining the safety and security of its citizens. The recent surgical strike is yet another testament to India’s resolute stance against terrorism and its unwavering dedication to preserving peace and stability in the region.

Army Denies Surgical Strike, Foils Infiltration Attempt in Rajouri

The Ministry of Defence has dismissed recent claims of an Indian Army surgical strike in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. A newspaper report had sparked speculation about the alleged strike. The Army clarified that no such operation took place in Rajouri-Poonch. Instead, it successfully thwarted an infiltration bid on August 22, where two terrorists were detected attempting to cross the Line of Control (LC) into Indian territory. Alert troops engaged the terrorists with effective fire, forcing them to retreat. One terrorist was injured and later succumbed to injuries. The Army remains vigilant to prevent further infiltration attempts.
